2006 TVS StaR City
Summary:
Don't make a mistake
Faults:
Service is very poor and the cost of spares is very high.
I went to the dealer and told them the fork seal is damaged and leaking; change it. I went back, paid the bill (didn't see the cost incurred) and took my bike home.
When in the morning I saw my bike again, the oil was leaking. Then I saw the bill they didn't even change the seal. They don't even do what we say.
Then the parts follow as per warranty. The battery failed exactly after 1 year.
I went to the dealer (at the end of one year) and told them the battery was not working; they simply charged it and then fixed it in the bike (didn't work), and then they told me to ride for some days and the battery will get charged and will work.
After some days I went and told them the battery is still not working. They tested and told me the battery is gone.
I fought like anything with them for warranty coverage. They simply said no.
General Comments:
The brakes and tires will skid or fail at anytime.
Would you buy another motorcycle from this manufacturer? No

Hi.
You seem to have very bad experience with the service. How did the bike perform otherwise? How much mileage did you get?
