2000 Piaggio Hexagon LXI
Summary:
Good comfortable ride
Faults:
Surprisingly, the only expense done on this 9 year old bike, for me, is the replacement of the worn out rear tire. Anyway, I have only done 3000km.
General Comments:
This is the Piaggio Hexagon LXI 200, 175cc two stroke. It is a delight to ride and handles very well, however since I am a 255 lbs rider, the single sided front suspension touches bottom when not properly slowed down to 40 kph on road bumps. Sometimes my 200 lbs son joins me for a total of 455 lbs, so road bumps must be crossed at 20kph (just like a car) to prevent bottoming. Otherwise there is no other way to enjoy city traffic riding than with an automatic CVT transmission in a scooter with a proud emblem.
Would you buy another motorcycle from this manufacturer? Yes
