1994 Honda RVF400 NC35

Summary:

Very good starter sports bike or a very fun, quick race rep 2nd bike

Faults:

HT Coils are going, but nothing else.

General Comments:

Very fast if you keep it above 8000 rpm. Look out 600's, you can be beaten with 200cc less on a twisty road!

Very reliable, never failed to start or broken down.

Solid handling, loves being thrashed, but good at cruising as well.

Looks stunning with the single sided swinging arm.

Ideal single person bike, loses the top end with two up.

Would you buy another motorcycle from this manufacturer? Yes

Awesome. Thanks for the review.

I am looking at a 2004 RVF400 too.

Cheers, Daniel.

Honda really paid attention to detail and styling on this bike. It oozes quality. I was offered a test ride, which was on the manager's demo/company bike. At first, it feels like you're gonna hurt revving the engine so high, but it doesn't mind. In fact you simply must rev it!

About 10-15% quicker than my TZR250 I was riding, but heavier too. I would have traded in but at double the price, I should've bought a used 750 version. They were available from private buyers for just about the same as a new 400. Hindsight...
