2010 Honda SH150i
Summary:
A fast, stable and reliable scooter!
Faults:
Nothing to report.
General Comments:
This SH150i is a welcome addition that fits nicely between the 50cc Metro & Ruckus, and the extra large 600cc Silverwing.
This scooter is a perfect balance between power and balance. It will top out at 70mph on its 16" wheels, and cruise all day, even "two up" at a comfortable 55mph, not to mention still attaining 90+ mpg.
The liquid cooled fuel injected 153cc engine is virtually maintenance free, and has plenty of power, even on hills and in winds. The combined braking system will stop you on a dime, and the large seat and dual shocks make riding a pleasing experience.
If I had anything negative to say, it would be the steep 4K price tag and lack of storage. Because of the large wheels and gas tank placement, there is only a small amount of underseat storage. I added the matching top case to solve that problem.
This bike is my main transportation, and as long as the speed limit is 55-60, then this bike has no problem keeping up with traffic. You need some extra reserve power in case you need it.
In my opinion, this is the best under 400cc scooter out there, since all of the reliable Japanese brands have dropped their 250cc models.
Would you buy another motorcycle from this manufacturer? Yes
