1984 Honda VF1100C
Summary:
A great bike that reminds me why I love to ride every second I'm on it
Faults:
Nothing.
General Comments:
This bike has a high grin factor. Its powerful V4 engine has good torque throughout the range to 10k.
Stock tire dimensions work well, but replace with radials and drop the height to an '80' and nimbleness increases from good to surprising.
I'm still amazed that this 25 year old cycle outperforms many newer bikes, even some cafe style racers.
The seat could be a tad more comfy, but it works for me even on long +400 mile trips and third parties make excellent alternatives.
The V65 Magna is a cruiser that will have sport bike riders wondering what you're riding, and other cruisers reading your license plate.
Would you buy another motorcycle from this manufacturer? Yes

The V-65 mag. is a bike that still can pass 90% of what is on the road today. Mine is 24 years old with a stator replacement, final drive replacement, due to a bearing going down, 2 sets of clutch plates and normal maintenance.
She is soon to be 25 years old, and I am still in love with her.
This bike is so far ahead of its time I cannot see why Honda stopped making them.
The only thing one MOST stay on top is ALL fluid changes, and use only high quality oil due to the cam wear problems I have seen on other V-65s.
RIDE ON, c.c. rider.
