2013 Polaris Victory Cross Country

Summary:

Great ride... very comfortable

Faults:

Complaint from passengers that the quick connect back rest vibrates too much on the Victory Cross Country.

Paint job looks great, but "rubs off" too easily.

General Comments:

I noticed a big difference going from SHAFT drive bike to BELT drive.

The audio system and dash controls are TOP notch.

2013 Polaris Victory Cross Country

Summary:

Can't beat this bike

Faults:

So far, there have been no problems.

General Comments:

I have had no problems whatsoever with this bike.

It also is the most comfortable ride I have ever ridden. Being over six feet tall, it is hard to find a bike big enough for my long legs, but the Cross Country with its huge floor boards and very comfortable seat, is a perfect fit for me.

The fairing and lowers provide great protection in cold and wet weather, yet open vents on the fairing and lowers in hot weather provide great air flow with very little engine heat. I have ridden comparative Harley's, and they can't begin to compete with Victory on these comfort and reliability issues.

The only thing Victory could improve on these models in my opinion, would be a fork lock or some other simple way to secure it when parked.

2011 Polaris Victory Cross Country

Summary:

I love the bike

Faults:

No real problems, just normal maintenance.

General Comments:

Good lines on the tank, bags and fairing.

Excellent fuel mileage and very good horse power.

Handles like a lighter bike.

Braking is good, but this was the year before ABS option became standard.
