Faults:

Coolant leak at 12,000 miles.

Shift forks needed replacing along with clutch plates at 15,000 miles.

General Comments:

The looks are love it or leave it... regardless I love it.

The Suzuki VZR 1800 is comfortable and well balanced, even while being over 700 lb wet. The performance is astounding and comparable to many other bikes, and comes ahead as a great value because of its low M.S.R.P. price.

It does take a bit of getting used to as far as riding position, but you get used to it very quickly. The maintenance is also a bit higher than other motorcycles, but with the performance it's easy to understand why.
