2005 Yamaha YZF-R6
Summary:
Don't sell your R6 - they don't make them anymore!
Faults:
Regulator/Rectifier connector got fried once, replacement wasn't expensive.
The front sprocket nut came off one day. Apparently Yamaha knew about it, but I never received any communication. Easy fix, but I paid for a tow truck to bring it home.
General Comments:
Keep up with the regular maintenance, and you have a gem!
Low end torque is poor. But if I rev it to 9000 rpm, I'm way too loud, and draw unwanted attention from the blue uniformed folks pretty easily!
Would you buy another motorcycle from this manufacturer? Yes

I agree with this review. I own a 2000 Yamaha R6 myself, and I have to say these ratings are exactly what I would give it, and I have been riding it for around 6 months now. I moved up from a Ninja 250 and I don't see why I would ever need a larger bike.
