Faults:

Fuel tank just replaced under warranty at 4,000 miles for expansion and distortion.

Voltage regulator failed yesterday, causing the bike to stall; is being replaced today under warranty.

Slight oil leak at one valve cover being addressed when the bike comes in for service.

General Comments:

'08 Sport 1000S - Great looking bike; possibly the most beautiful bike I have ever owned.

Gets a lot of looks and positive comments, and has a passenger seat for the girlfriend, unlike many Ducatis.

Expensive for what you get, not the fastest bike around, but among the fastest in the retro class.

Light and handles great, but the driver ergonomics are terrible.

Possibly the most uncomfortable bike I've ever owned.

Should really come with better tires, brakes and suspension for this price.

I still love the bike though.
