Charging systems, on the third one

General Comments:

Great bike, have done an iron butt 1000 mile ride. Still use the police seat, had an upholster cut the rear section off the dresser seat for the rear. Extended the mount for the air bladder back 3 inches for the tour box so not to crowd my wife and me.

This third police bike I have owned; 1999, 2001 and this 2002. The 02 had changes on brakes and axles. A couple of other things were factory changed.

I had motor upped to 95", gear drive cams plus heads done as soon as I got it, didn't even test ride it, just hauled it to Hartmans T/F shop in Canton, Ga for motor work. Dyno at 93 hp and 104 torque.

Now over 123000 miles and planning an Alaska ride next year for a 61st birthday present to myself. That will make all 49 that I can ride to.

Still use runflat Dunlop tires that average 8-10000, except when a sidecar was attached.
