2004 Harley-Davidson FLHTCUI Ultra Classic Electra Glide from United States of America
Faults:
The only problem in the 11 months and 33,500 miles I've ridden it, has been the two front speakers. Both speakers stopped working within three months of buying the bike. Dealer replaced both and have had no problems since.
General Comments:
Without a doubt, this is the most comfortable, long range touring bike I've ever owned. Electronics work very well and the controls are located where they are usable and easily reached.
The engine seems to be bullet-proof. I've been running Amsoil 20W50 and 75/90 in it since breakin was completed. I'm averaging 41 mpg at 70mph on cruise.
Would you buy another motorcycle from this manufacturer? Don't Know

We just bought a 2005 Electra Glide Ultra Classic and just love it.
One problem we had is the air cleaner wasn't put on properly and flew off on the highway. The dealership took a long time to accept the blame, but they did.

This is by far the most comfortable bike I have ever owned, both in town and on the road at 70-80 mph.

Has anyone had a problem with the primary? We only have 18k on the bike. Went first gear, then couldn't make second. Letting the clutch out it started grinding. Immediately shut it down to not cause more damage. Anyone have a problem like this???
Thanks for input.

At least you're running Amsoil. My father-in-law says oil is oil and he has used Canadian Tire oil in is Goldwing for 20 years. Personally I wouldn't, but what the hell, he has over 100 000 kms.
