Faults:

Recall on the clutch.

Parking brake quit working.

General Comments:

I was somewhat concerned switching from 2 wheels to 3 wheels, as my previous experience with the 3 wheel cycle were the older ATV type that were a tip-over risk. I have found this bike to be trustworthy handling. It does not handle as well as a 2 wheeler on curves, but it does the speed limit. It steers by pushing the bars on the opposite handle of your turn direction.

Braking is very good. Good acceleration and great torque due to 2 wheels. Big bonus is you don't have to have your feet on the ground at stops, and sand and gravel are not a problem.

Faults:

Nothing. It has run great; lived up to everything that I thought it would.

General Comments:

Love the color.

Faults:

I have not had any issues with the Tri Glide. Harley did perform a recall on the clutch, but I was not having any problems prior to the recall.

General Comments:

The Tri Glide is a great bike; easy on, easy off very stable. An old saying goes when age and health dictates that you have to stop riding, it's time to go to a trike. The Harley-Davidson Tri Glide was a great option.

Faults:

There was a clutch cable recall and the drive belt lost several teeth. There was no belt in stock and it took the dealer too long to get one, and much too long to replace it.

General Comments:

Other than the two problems I had with it, I will still buy another one, if they put a Road Glide fairing on it instead of the Street Glide fairing. I do like the one I have.

Faults:

Hard to get into neutral.

General Comments:

I've owned numerous (new, used & many, many types) of ONLY Harley-Davidson motorcycles over the last 50 years... this is my first experience with a trike. When attempting to start it for the first time at home, it was nearby impossible to get it into neutral. Grrrr.

On the first trip (which was out of state), it was again difficult to get into neutral when after we stopped for gas :-(

At the meeting location, others (all H-D owners!) wanted to check it out... they also experienced difficulty getting it into neutral - a tad embarrassing when showing a brand new bike to close friends and brothers :-/

After that first trip, we made a few short outings to local small towns, and as time and usage have progressed, it is slowly shifting into neutral more easily - which has alleviated most of my initial displeasure.

The most difficult thing about riding the trike was my adjustment to learn that leaning isn't needed when maneuvering a curve or traffic situations (hahaha).

That and the fancy computer provided information and entertainment :-/, although each feature of which is very much appreciated once it is mastered.

Faults:

We just got back from a trip last week. We rode from West Virginia to Georgia, then down into Florida, back up through Alabama, Tennessee and Kentucky, and back into West Virginia. The trike performed flawlessly.

General Comments:

After riding to Key Largo, then on a trip to Key West on our two wheeler, we decided to try a trike. My back and knees are quite the same as they used to be. I wished I hadn’t waited so long to purchase a trike. It’s easier on me, and my wife enjoys the trip also.
