Mine has air shocks. We run about 130 pounds pressure in them and ride is good!

Never had any excessive heat, even at a stop light. My 2016 Freewheeler rides perfect. If I hit a rough road it gets a little rough, but so did every bike I ever rode. Fact is, my Camry doesn’t like a rough road. If you have excessive heat, you need to let a Harley mechanic check it out.

Totally agree with you. Never had a problem with my 2015 Freewheeler. Can’t say that about other Harleys I have owned.

2015 FLRT Freewheeler. I have experienced the rough ride and my legs do roast from the engine's heat when in stop and go traffic while riding on the interstate. I also have a Road King and had never had an issue with heat on my legs. Been riding two wheeler's for over 40 years and loved every minute of it. The Freewheeler is a completely different kind of ride from a two wheeler. If it wasn't for my health limitations I would not be on a trike. It's not as enjoyable for me. For me it's not a real motorcycle.

Thanks every one! Just got my 2015 FW! So far so good... we live on a dirt road to the highway and it's not bad to get there, just excited to ride again!

It's a Harley. They all get hot on a hot day in traffic... I had an 84 Shovelhead and the oil tank is under yo ASS. I used to shut it off in traffic and push it till the traffic started moving!!!

Been riding HD'S for 45 years, and I don't see that changing. Don't think my Freewheeler is any hotter in traffic than my 13 Ultra. The 103 just seems to be that way. I also have a Springer and the heat isn't too bad. But having as many as I've had, it is what it is. Still love my Harleys.

I like the Freewheeler, 2016. But the critical comments are correct.
Hard to believe in this day and age Harley Davidson is mechanically imperfect. I have owned Harleys since 1955 and now believe that the bikes will be bought out, have a slight name change and will sell again. Yes, bankruptcy is in the HOG's future. I hate to say it, but the Japanese bikes are 100% superior. My next and last bike will not be a Harley.
