2019 Honda CBR300R from United States of America

Summary:

Fantastic value, looks great, maintenance free, and pure fun

Faults:

Nothing.

General Comments:

Great starter bike, also a great ender bike. What I mean by that is, I’m 73, I don’t have the strength anymore to throw around a six hundred pound plus bike. With this bike’s weight at about three hundred fifty pounds, I can handle pushing it in and out of my basement, I don’t have a garage.

I raced bikes in the seventies. This cycle handles like a dream. With modern technology, this 300, has way more power then anything in its class in the seventies. So, although not something for interstate travel, I can warp it through the twisties all day long.

Living in West Virginia, there are plenty of mountainous, windy, back roads. Being exceptionally nimble, and having plenty of power for the terrain. I love to catch up to a group of cruisers, wait for a tight turn, go around and wave bye bye.

This is an ideal bike for someone starting out, or for someone that has a lot of good riding areas that just wants to have fun. Great choice for a second bike. Or for an old coot that used to race and still gets on two wheels.

2015 Honda CBR300R from Canada

Summary:

One of the funnest bikes I've owned

Faults:

Had a crankshaft recall. It was replaced within 3 days after bringing it to the dealership.

Else, no problems thus far.

General Comments:

Generally a great fun bike overall. It keeps up with traffic nicely on the highway; great gas mileage; comfortable for long distances (I am 1.67m and 63kg); light and easy to handle; and the bike looks good!
