Faults:

1100 Shadow ACE Tourer.

Nothing has gone wrong with this bike except routine wear and tear like tires.

General Comments:

Tires are expensive.

Love the hard bags. Keeps my stuff clean, dry, and secure.

Handles curves or highway equally well.

Handles well in the rain or sun.

I'm a 5'7" tall woman and the bike is comfortable enough to do 10 to 12 hours a day of riding. Original saddle, handlebars, frame, etc. are comfortable for my size.

Well balanced.

Plenty of power, even with a passenger.

Windshield helps with fatigue.

Faults:

Speedometer cable fails every 3-4 years.

Dust seals on fork have failed.

General Comments:

Wonderful for a first bike.

Wished for a larger gas tank while on road trips; refueling every 120 miles was a pain.

Super reliable.

Over the years, I have removed much of the plastic flash and hidden wiring.
