Faults:

Stock Delorto carb would flood the entire engine.

Replaced with Keihin pwk 39.. much better.

Base gasket blew out after 4 years.

Parts are expensive, complete engine rebuild was $1,400 with labor.

General Comments:

Excellent bike. Top ends last 5-10 years or 500 hours.

The power is as smooth and linear as you could ask for.

Much better power delivery than a CR500 or KX500.
