1983 Moto Guzzi V65 from United States of America
Summary:
I'd definitely buy another one
Faults:
Kickstand broke off. Center stand was okay.
Bolts holding exhaust pipes were funky, but worked.
General Comments:
This is a nice, comfortable, mid-weight street cruiser. Perfect for scooting around back roads on two hundred mile junkets. It was a good size for a 6'2 rider, more comfortable than bigger engined bikes I've ridden due to its height and generous seating, and much better for a big rider than a Honda CX-650 of the same year (which seems like a mini-bike compared to the Guzzi). Despite its ample size, it was fairly light and nimble enough in traffic.
I bought it for $1700, and sold it for a decent profit, but I wish I'd kept it. It was a reliable, trustworthy machine that seemed to be bullet-proof.
Would you buy another motorcycle from this manufacturer? Yes
