Faults:

Took it to my repair shop because when I bought it, it had been sitting in someone's back yard for 5 years and still ran!!! I felt obligated to have the carburetor rebuilt. He found that the transmission had a missing spacer causing some hesitation. Not sure if that was manufacturer fault or dealer fault.

General Comments:

I love this bike. It has made me a devoted follower of Piaggio. It is a machine of quality. I commute every day on this, and no longer drive a car because of it.

Faults:

Nothing has gone wrong with this gem.

Oil changes only.

General Comments:

Easy to maintain yourself.

You can go 65+ miles per hour on this scooter.

65 miles per gallon.

Suspension can be adjusted higher or lower and for passenger weight too.

I LOVE this machine.

Faults:

The Vespa ET-4 is the perfect scooter. I have not spend a dollar on anything other than oil changes and tires.

I have never been left on foot or with it out of service.

General Comments:

This is the perfect motorcycle. If you are looking for a low maintenance and dependable scooter, you have it in this one.

Faults:

Abnormal oil consumption.

The saddle after one year became not waterproof due to the seams not being well done.

General Comments:

Vespa confirm their great knowledge of scooters and the ET4 is a modern old style scooter that brings you to '60.

Faults:

Hard to start the engine in the morning, and when I don't use it for a couple of days.

General Comments:

It really changed my lifestyle, from a car person to a Vespa fanatic.
