It's 4 years after you placed you question and I don't know if you solved your problem, but I thought I would send this along. It seems that the right side cover flies off more often than the left and consequently is harder to find. Try eBay motors. You will see a lot of right side covers and a few left sides. Expect to pay a premium price. Also eBay motors is a great source of used parts of all kinds for this bike. Good luck.
